Substantial Power Supply

Each S3000S monoblock features a 750VA toroidal transformer, constructed using high-grade silicon steel and high-purity copper winding wire.

The transformer is secured using an epoxy-resin potting and copper-nut mounting arrangement, designed to help reduce unwanted mechanical vibration and transformer noise.

The main amplifier section is powered by a high-current rectifier bridge and six 10,000µF / 80V filter capacitors, providing substantial energy storage for demanding musical passages.

Separate transformer windings supply the main amplifier, input buffer and protection circuitry. Each section has its own rectification and voltage regulation, helping to minimise interference between circuits.

High-Current Output Stage

The S3000S uses three pairs of high-power Darlington output transistors per monoblock, designed to provide the current needed to drive demanding loudspeakers.
